Getting started
LivePane lets you watch and control live agent terminal panes on machines you own. You install a small agent on each computer, claim it in the web app, then create sessions that stream to the browser.
Path in four steps
- Sign up — Create a free account at livepane.io. You get a personal workspace (no card required).
- Install the agent — Put the
livepanebinary on the machine you want to connect. See Install the agent. - Claim the machine — As the workspace owner, run
livepane claimon that computer, paste the claim code under Machines → Link a machine, then keep the agent running. See Claim a machine. - Create a session — With an online machine, open Create session (or Machines → Create session), pick the machine and working directory, and open the live terminal view.
